The C3WP Badge Series: Guidance Criteria for Sites Awarding Badges to Participants and Leaders

Curators notes:

The National Writing Project offers three badges to educators who have participated in the College, Career, and Community Writers Program, recognizing participation in teaching, facilitating professional learning, and designing professional development. This page details the guidance criteria for each badge.

The National Writing Project is pleased to offer badges to teachers and teacher-leaders who have participated in the College, Career, and Community Writers Program. These badges recognize the expertise gained from participation in C3WP at three levels: classroom practice, facilitation of professional learning, and design of professional development programs for teachers, schools, and districts.

Local sites are able to award all three badges to participants who meet the criteria below. Badges do not need to be awarded sequentially, and educators can receive all three if they meet the criteria.
